​The Court Services division is seeking to establish a pool of applicants for ASO2 Court Officers across the CAA Magistrates Court. Court Officers are responsible for providing administrative support in a registry, contact centre or business unit, which contributes to the overall achievement of the efficient and effective operation of the Magistrates Court and Youth Court.
 
Suitable applicants will be registered on the pool for a period of 12 months and utilised for fulltime or part time temporary Court Officer positions across various Magistrate metropolitan court locations.

Brief description of the duties:
​The Deputy Registrar, Civil is responsible for providing leadership and management in the operations of the Civil Registry and for providing registry services to court users in a team based environment. This includes customer services, lodgement and management of court file documents, listing matters for hearing and other registry functions across the Supreme Court Civil, District Court Civil and Administrative and Disciplinary Division.
The Deputy Registrar, Civil is also part of a team responsible for improving court operations, identifying and facilitating the management and implementation of strategic and business improvements in the Civil Jurisdiction of the Supreme and District Courts. The Deputy Registrar also holds the role of Deputy Registrar for the Police Disciplinary Tribunal and the Protective Security Officers Tribunal.

Must be eligible for appointment as a Justice of the Peace.
