The Coroner’s Court is located at 302 King William Street, Adelaide and houses both the Coroner’s Office and the Coroner’s Court. 
 

While many Inquests are heard in this building, if a death occurred outside of the Adelaide metropolitan area, the Coroner often hears evidence in the nearest country centre to where the death occurred.

Taxi

There is a taxi rank in front of the Sir Samuel Way Building on the south west corner of Victoria Square.

Tram

The Tram station is located in Victoria Square

Train

The Adelaide Railway Station is located on North terrace roughly 15 minutes walk from the courthouse or five minutes on the tram.

Parking

Limited on-street parking is available on Gouger Street. Undercover parking stations are located between Gouger and Grote Streets and Gouger and Wright Streets

Entrance to the building is via King William Street with lift transport on the Ground Floor.

Public toilets are located on the following floors:

  • Level 1

Accessible toilets are located on level 1 opposite the lifts.

Refreshments

There are a number of cafes and restaurants on Gouger Street and in the Central Market complex.
