Magistrates Court
administration support unit

An initiative of the Magistrates Court  was the establishment of what was initially the Court Improvement Unit which, as its name suggests, was dedicated to the continuous improvement of court services. This unit is now known as the Administration Support Unit. The unit comprises a small staff with combined business skills in court administration and project management.

The function of the Administration Support Unit is to undertake tasks and projects which will improve work performance, enhance service delivery and promote accessibility to all users of the court. In doing so, the unit aims to drive the Magistrates Court into the future as a leader in providing professional court services through the utilisation of e-commerce opportunities, new technology and best industry practices.
