COVID-19 Update – Avoiding Attendance at Registries and Filing of Documents
Wherever practical to avoid attendance in person at the Higher Courts Registry all documents presented in the approved form for filing with the Higher Courts should be presented for filing electronically by email in accordance with the applicable Court Rules relating to Documents and Service or by registered post.
Presentation of documents by attendance at the registries should be avoided wherever possible.

- All Higher Court criminal documents can be sent electronically to; ccrcs@courts.sa.gov.au
- Supreme Court Civil documents can be sent electronically to; supreme.registry@courts.sa.gov.au
- District Court Civil documents can be sent electronically to; district.civil@courts.sa.gov.au
- Environment, resources and Development Court documents can be sent electronically to; erdcourt@courts.sa.gov.au
IMPORTANTLY: Please note that documents should be in PDF format and signed unless otherwise requested
Documents that are too large for email can be either posted or alternatively a drop box is available in the Sir Samuel Way building.
Civil originating applications can be filed electronically providing contact details are provided to enable the registry to contact the party to receive payment details via phone.

Legal practitioners or parties seeking to inspect files or documents produced under subpoena are advised to make arrangements in advance via email to avoid unnecessary attendances at the Court building.
