A statement from the State Courts Administrator, Ms Julie-Anne Burgess:
“Due to the current COVID-19 cluster, there will be no court appearances today, either in person or via AVL, from Yatala Labour Prison. There will also be no prisoner movement from Adelaide Remand Centre or Mobilong Prison to the Courts but AVL hearings will proceed.
The CAA is working with the Department for Correctional Services, and will follow SA Health advice, to ensure the safety of judiciary, staff, court users and those in custody.”
