The Court Services division is seeking to establish a pool of applicants for ASO2 Court Officers across the Magistrates Court in full and part time positions.​

The ASO2 Court Officer is responsible for providing an effective registry and information service by advising court users on court practice and procedures, processing incoming registry work, and handling documents lodged.

Your application should provide evidence that you have the capabilities required for the position. The evidence should include examples of specific times when you have demonstrated the particular capability (at work or in the community) or any of your achievements that demonstrate you have the required skills and knowledge. There is no requirement to submit a cover letter for this role.

Positions are advertised on the IWorkforSA website – select ‘Courts Administration Authority’ in the ‘Agency’ field and follow the prompts on the screen.  Applicants responding to an advertised position should refer to the CAA application kit.

Suitable applicants will be registered on the pool for a period of 12 months and be utilised for various fulltime or part time temporary ASO2 Court Officer positions within the Youth Court and Magistrates Court across the various metropolitan court locations.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Child Related Employment Screening prior to employment and a National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.​
