How do I obtain a court certified copy of the grant?

You may wish to request a Court sealed copy of record or an Exemplification of a grant

To request a Court sealed copy of record or an exemplification of a grant from the Probate Registry please email the Probate Registry attaching a letter addressed to the Registrar of Probates. The letter must set out the reasons why the exemplification is required.

Upon receipt by the Probate Registry, your request will be considered at the discretion of the Registrar of Probates and you will be notified of the outcome.

Please note if your request is accepted, there is an associated Court fee.
