If I am a victim of domestic violence (or a protected person) will I need to appear at the same time as the perpetrator of the violence?

No. You don’t have to be present with the perpetrator. Different times or locations can be made.

It is critical for you to tell DCP and the court if you are in a situation where you are worried for your safety.
