Individual accounts

They are intended for:

  • Self-represented litigants
  • Barristers
  • People not part of a law firm
  • People who work for multiple organisations
  • People who want to search Probate

Someone with an Individual account can:

  • Only see the cases they are representing themselves or acting on
  • Delete their account
  • Edit their account details
  • Lodge documents
  • Make payments
  • Access cases they have access to
  • Perform actions on those cases
  • Request access to cases

No other person can use the account.

Steps:

  1. Go to the “CourtSA Home Page”
  2. Click on the “Register Button”
  3. Click on “Individual”
  4. Enter your email address and personal information
  5. Read and agree with the ECMS terms of use and select “Create new account:
  6. The system will send you an email containing a verification link you must use within 24 hours before proceeding with CourtSA. The link will automatically take you to the CourtSA Reset password page
  7. Create a new password and click “Save”
