Criminal, Special and Care and Protection functionality will be available on 29 August 2022

The majority of cases and documents can be lodged using CourtSA

There are some low volume applications and cases that you will need to attend a Court Services location in person to lodge. See Things you can’t do using CourtSA for more information.

CourtSA uses a combination of smart forms and uploads.

A smart form requires you to enter your data directly into CourtSA. Using this data CourtSA will create your court documents.

An upload requires you upload your document to CourtSA and provide some information about it.

Most lodgements to start a case are smart forms as they collect the data you provide and create your case. They will also create your court document.

Most lodgements done after a case is started are uploads.

View the relevant lodging prescribed forms page for further information.
